Have You Missed Opportunity?

Have you ever missed out on something just because you didn’t ask? I almost did.

When I was applying for my master’s program, securing a scholarship was crucial for me. I thought that if a college didn’t mention scholarships upfront, it was a lost cause.

But then, I had a moment of courage and decided to ask if any other scholarships were available.

To my surprise, I learned that I could still qualify for a scholarship by writing an essay or providing supportive documents for financial constraints.

So, I went ahead and wrote another essay. The result? I landed a good scholarship at one of the universities I applied to.

This experience taught me a powerful lesson: if you need something, ask for it. The worst that can happen is you hear “no,” but even that can stand for “Next Opportunity.”

So, don’t hesitate. Speak up, ask, and open doors you never knew existed.
