Feeling insecure is a natural part of being human.

When I was younger, I thought that if someone is confident, that means they aren’t insecure.

I now realize that even the most confident people are insecure in some way or another; even the people you look up to need words of affirmation.

Getting a good job, having external rewards such as getting promoted, making more money, and winning awards might help boost your confidence, but not necessarily remove your feelings of insecurity.

Insecurity is natural for everyone. Once you start getting comfortable doing things that are uncomfortable, you reach new peaks.

The best way to control how your insecurities affect your life is to recognize and accept them instead of pretending they don’t exist.
