I Was Skeptical About Yoga Until I Tried This

In 2019, I decided to take a Yoga teacher training course. At the time, I was exploring something new and exciting apart from work and other activities. Little did I know this would turn out to be one of the best decisions of my life

I got to learn and practice Yoga with some of the best teachers and practitioners. Each session was not just about stretching and poses; it was about understanding the mind-body connection and the importance of breathing right.

But the best part? I was able to teach my mum for a few months during the pandemic. It felt amazing to see her get active and enjoy the sessions. I truly believe that health is wealth, and exercising is super important to stay active and healthy. Yoga, in particular, is great because it combines physical activity with mental peace.

Some of the biggest misconceptions about Yoga:

  • It’s only about poses and flexibility: Yoga is much more. It’s about mental well-being and mindfulness.
  • It’s only for flexible people: Yoga is for everyone, no matter your flexibility or fitness level.
  • It’s not a real workout: Yoga can be tough and helps build strength and endurance if done right.

Personally, Yoga has helped me in so many ways. It keeps me calm, reduces my stress, and helps me stay physically active. Whether it’s a tough day or just feeling overwhelmed, a quick Yoga session always makes things better.

If you ever plan to learn something new, I highly recommend giving Yoga a try. It’s not just an exercise; it’s a life skill. It teaches you patience, focus, and how to take care of your body and mind. Plus, it’s a lot of fun!

Happy International Yoga Day🌟
